BULLETIN 3

March 2, 2007

ABC representatives continued their explanation of the Company's initial bargaining proposals when talks resumed today at 9:30 A.M.

The morning session run-through focused on ABC's proposed changes to General Articles including sick leave, unsatisfactory performance terminations, payback days, vacation, arbitrators, and on-camera appearances. The Company also explained their initial 'A' Contract Engineering meal period and Daily Hire proposals.

The afternoon session run-through included initial discussions regarding Company proposals for Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco Newswriters and Producers, Los Angeles Plant Maintenance, New York Publicists, Stipulation 8 and Stipulation 19.

Throughout both sessions today, the Union Bargaining Committee expressed sharp criticism for the Company's initial proposals on these items. Ray Taylor, President of Local 41 (Chicago) remarked to Company negotiators that, "What we see here now is a race to the bottom."

Talks are adjourned while the parties caucus for the weekend.  Negotiations will resume at 9:30 A.M. Monday, March 5th.

The Union Bargaining Committee reminds all members to ignore rumors. All official negotiation and mobilization information will be delivered on the Sector website at  www.abc-contract.info as well as on Local websites, hotlines, and e-mail lists.
